What is Bonus Wins?
Bonus Wins is a bonus game that gives players the chance to win additional prizes by collecting matching symbols during a round. Every Bonus Wins game must also have an End Prize, which is awarded separately from the bonus game.
Round Cost
Players must purchase 3 tickets to play 1 round of Bonus Wins.
When creating your competition, you set the ticket price, and the system automatically multiplies this by 3 to determine the total cost per round.
Examples
33p per ticket = 99p per round
50p per ticket = £1.50 per round
£1.00 per ticket = £3.00 per round
Always keep the total round price in mind when setting your ticket price.
Bonus Matches
Bonus Wins has three fixed match levels:
1 Match
2 Matches
3 Matches
These match levels are built into the game and cannot be added, removed or changed.
When setting up your game, you'll assign a prize to each symbol you create. Players earn these prizes by achieving the required number of matching symbols during a round.
1 Match is the easiest match level to achieve.
2 Matches are less common.
3 Matches are the rarest outcome and award the highest bonus prize available for that symbol.
Prize Distribution
When setting up Bonus Wins, you'll create 3 or more symbols, with each symbol representing a different bonus prize.
Your symbols should be structured into prize tiers:

Tier 2 | Mid-range prize | Moderate availability |
Tier 3 | Lowest prize | Highest availability |
You can add additional symbols if you'd like to offer more prize levels, but the same principle should always apply:
Higher-value prizes should have fewer winning tickets available.
Mid-value prizes should have a moderate number of winning tickets available.
Lower-value prizes should have the highest number of winning tickets available.
This keeps the highest-value bonus prizes the rarest, while lower-value prizes are available more frequently.
Match Probability
Bonus Wins is designed so that higher match levels become increasingly difficult to achieve.
In general:
1 Match is the most common outcome.
2 Matches are much less common.
3 Matches are the rarest outcome and should be treated as a premium achievement.
While 2 Match and 3 Match wins are uncommon, they are not impossible to achieve. They should simply be configured to be much rarer than 1 Match wins.
Planning Your Prize Distribution
When configuring your game, you should always plan using the worst-case scenario.
This means assuming that every available winning ticket for a particular symbol could be found, including a 3 Match win. Prize values and winning ticket quantities should therefore be set at levels that remain sustainable, even if every available bonus prize is claimed.
Planning this way simply helps ensure you're being sensible and safe with the prizes you're offering, even in the unlikely event that every available bonus prize is won.
