Meta has changed their way of submitting an RMG application so here's a guide on the new way.
Typically, within 7 days of applying, you’ll receive a confirmation that your application is under review. From there, it’s just a matter of waiting—if everything is in order, you should receive approval soon! 🤞
Please note - you should receive updates within your support inbox on Facebook or via email.
Type in Google 'RMG Application Form', you should be on this page -
Press on 'Onboarding Form'
You should be presented with this -
Click View Details next to 'Online Gambling and gaming ads'
Click 'request authorisation'
Click 'get started'
Click 'operator'
Search for 'United Kingdom' and then click 'lotteries/raffles'
Provide the info about the business - Business name, URL, Ad Accounts
Tick 'no' to the gambling license and then click 'geo-blocking of the URL' and 'KYC checks'
Provide your legal opinion in the first section, and then screenshot the homepage of your website, click on a prize and screenshot the online entry, then another of the free postal entry (INCLUDE THE URL IN ALL SCREENSHOTS), then in the last section, screenshot your terms and conditions all the way down and make sure to include the URL.
Then, you need to take a screenshot of your checkout to show you have GEO blocking on the URL (screenshot example at the bottom of this article). You also need to create a document explaining your KYC checks (something brief and what your KYC documents are; I have an example at the bottom of this article).
Then you need to agree to the T&Cs
And submit!
KYC document - please write something like this, in your words -
KYC Verification Process for Prize Winners
Purpose
To ensure the legitimacy of prize winners, comply with legal and anti-fraud requirements, and confirm that the competition was fair and valid, Reffle® performs identity and address verification checks before dispatching any prizes or cash alternatives.
When is KYC Required?

Acceptable forms:
• Passport

• National ID card
Requirements:
• Full name must match entry details
• Must be valid (not expired)
• Clear image with visible face and details
2. Proof of Address
Must be a recent (last 3 months) document showing the customer’s full name and address.
Acceptable forms:

How to Collect the Documents
You may ask customers to:
• Reply to an email with attachments (ensure inbox is secure)
Example wording:
“Congratulations on your win!
Before we release your prize, we’re required to complete a quick KYC check to verify your identity and address.
Please send us the following:
1. A photo ID (passport or driving licence)
2. A recent utility bill or bank statement (last 3 months)
This is to protect you and ensure all our winners are verified properly. Thanks for your understanding!”
Data Handling & Retention
• We do not permanently store any uploaded documents or ID photos. Once the documents have been visually checked, the customer is marked as verified within our secure backend system. No copies are retained beyond this step.
What Happens If KYC Is Not Completed
• The prize will be held for 7 days (or your chosen period).
• If no valid documents are received, the prize may be withheld or offered to a backup winner, in line with your terms and conditions.
