How to Add/Connect an Ads Manager Account to your Business Facebook Account

You need to have an ad account to start your RMG process, here is how you can connect/add a fresh one to start advertising!

To start your RMG approval you need an ad account connected. Follow these steps to find out how.

  1. Go to Facebook Business Manager

  2. Access Business Settings

    Click on settings in the left sidebar.

    Select Business Settings.

  3. Navigate to Ad Accounts

    Under the Accounts section on the left sidebar, click Ad Accounts.

  4. Add an Ad Account

    Click on the blue 'Add' button and choose one of the following:

    Add an existing Ad Account (if you already own it)

    Request Access to an Ad Account (if someone else owns it)

    Create a new Ad Account (if you're starting fresh)

    It's always best to start fresh, as it's the easiest, so if possible start fresh and fill out the info.

  5. Enter Ad Account Details

    If adding an existing account, enter the Ad Account ID (found in Ads Manager)

  6. Confirm Ownership or Request Access

    If you're adding an existing account, Facebook will verify ownership.

    If you're requesting access, the owner must approve your request.

  7. Save and Verify

    Click Save, and you should see your Ad Account under Business Settings > Ad Accounts.

Please Note - Facebook might restrict your fresh ad account so they can confirm you are a real person. If this happens:

  • Press 'view my accounts'

  • Press 'request review'

  • On there, you should be able to provide some type of identification to prove you are a real person.

  • Wait up to 48 hours for a response from Facebook.
